In a remarkable display of skill, Milena absolutely dominated the pool, securing triumphant victories in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) with a time of 2:14.91 and the 100 freestyle at an impressive 56.59 seconds. She didn’t finish there; Milena was also part of the winning 200 medley relay, finishing in 2:02.25, and the 200 freestyle relay, which clocked in at 1:53.51. But it wasn’t just Milena lighting up the events. Junior Ava Czarnecki from Bristol put on an amazing performance, winning both the 100 freestyle in 1:06.55 and the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:13.47 as her team overcame Enfield.

Meanwhile, Grace D’Amico, a senior from Lyman Hall, showcased her talent by winning the 200 IM in 2:27.02 and the 100 backstroke at 1:02.49, even bagging some impressive wins despite Lyman Hall’s narrow loss to North Haven, ending with a score of 94-92.

Senior competitor Kylie McKirryher from Seymour shined brightly as she won the 200 freestyle in 1:59.53 and the 500 freestyle in 5:23.16 against Watertown and followed up with wins in the 100 freestyle (54.03) and the 100 backstroke (1:01.79) against Oxford. Meanwhile, junior Abigail Miko from Woodland impressed with a 2:22.48 finish in the 200 IM and a swift 56.30 seconds in the 100 freestyle, despite a tough matchup against Oxford.

Oxford’s freshman star Sophia Montalvo made waves by securing wins in the 200 IM with a time of 2:25.65 and in the 100 butterfly at 1:11.12.
