North Florida to Host NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Region First Round

Jacksonville, Fla. – The excitement is building as North Florida track & field prepares to host the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East Region First Round. This event will take place from May 28-31 at the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium. It promises to be an exciting showcase of talent right here on home turf.

Four standout Ospreys will represent the university on this national stage, looking to make their mark in their respective events. On the men’s side, Aidan O’Gorman will compete in the 10,000m race, while Robert Pedroza will take on the 800m sprint. Their races are scheduled for April 28 and April 30, respectively. For the women, Smilla Kolbe and Ella Chandler will both join in the action, also running the 800m on April 29 and 31.
