Atlanta, Georgia – The college football scene is lively as fans gear up for the 2024-25 bowl season which officially kicked off on December 26. This year’s lineup is particularly exciting with the introduction of a 12-team College Football Playoff, bringing even more thrilling matchups for teams and fans alike.
The bowl games commenced with the Celebration Bowl and the Salute to Veterans Bowl. In the Celebration Bowl, Jackson State triumphed over South Carolina State with a score of **28-7**. Meanwhile, the Salute to Veterans Bowl saw South Alabama narrowly defeat Western Michigan at **30-23**.
