In Alabama, the high school football scene is buzzing as the regular season winds down and the playoffs loom on the horizon. In the latest rankings from the Alabama Sports Writers Association, there have been no changes at the top for the final week of the regular season. Auburn retains the top spot in 7A, while Saraland holds firm in 6A, Montgomery Catholic remains at the forefront of 5A, and Jackson keeps their leadership in 4A. Other leaders include T.R. Miller in 3A, Pisgah in 2A, and Wadley in 1A. Additionally, Chambers Academy stays No. 1 in the AISA.

This week, only three of these ranked teams will be taking the field. T.R. Miller will host W.S. Neal in the highly anticipated “Battle of Murder Creek” in Brewton. At the same time, Pisgah is set to welcome Sylvania and Chambers Academy will head to Abbeville Christian.
