As the high school football regular season in Texas approaches its finale, the top-25 rankings are getting more competitive preparing for the playoffs. With only three weeks left until the bi-districts kick off, the current teams ranked by the On3 Massey Ratings are proving their worth on the field.
At the top of the list is Duncanville, who had a strong performance this week with a convincing 41-7 win over Lancaster. They remain heavily favored in their last three regular-season games. Following closely is Atascocita, who faced a tough challenge against Kingwood but managed to secure a narrow 42-41 victory. They will face their biggest challenge yet when they go up against North Shore, currently ranked fifth.
Ranked fourth, Carroll showed its strength by defeating a previously undefeated Northwest team 48-7. They are just two games away from finishing the regular season without a loss. Meanwhile, North Crowley continues to dominate, celebrating a hefty 62-6 win over Weatherford and sitting at an impressive 7-0 overall record.
Conversely, North Shore, once ranked third, fell to number 6 after two blowout victories against winless teams, showing that their upcoming match against Atascocita will be crucial.
Rounding out the top 10, Lake Travis and Aledo are in for some tests as they prepare for tougher opponents in the weeks ahead, while Willis moved up to 19 after consistent performances.
