This ranking is a testament to the team’s hard work and strategy, which head coach Jamie Morrison emphasizes involves more than just winning games. “This isn’t just about winning and losing necessarily,” Morrison stated. “It’s about how we win and it’s about positioning ourselves to go as far as we possibly can in the NCAA tournament.”
The Aggies are also ranked No. 9 in the AVCA Rankings, boasting an impressive 15-3 record as the season progresses. Morrison commented on the team’s focus and determination, saying, “I don’t necessarily have to dial them in right now. I’ve been asked all season how to describe this team and it’s mission focused.” This attitude reflects that the team is not just aiming for a good season but is committed to strengthening their position in the tournament. “We’re probably a three seed right now. So our goal is to move up that as much as we possibly can and put ourselves in the best position going into the postseason,” he added.
