Mark your calendars because this is not an event lacrosse fans will want to miss!
Schedule Highlights
Things are set to kick off on Sunday, with the girls taking the field first at 6 p.m. Eastern, followed shortly after by the boys’ game at 8:40 p.m. Eastern. It’s a perfect opportunity for families, friends, and fans to witness some of the best high school talent showcased on a grand stage.
A Growing Legacy
Originally starting out in 2011 solely as a boys’ lacrosse showcase, the Adrenaline All-American Games embraced a new chapter in 2019 by introducing a girls’ game, acknowledging the talent and passion of West Coast players. This expansion reflects just how far the event has come, and it certainly has not stopped growing since! This year, there are 62 boys and 51 girls from 12 different states taking part, competing in a friendly but fierce North vs. South format.
Player Selection and Futures
Getting picked to play in such a sought-after event is no easy feat. The participants were chosen based on recommendations from coaches and the meticulous evaluation by the Adrenaline Evaluation Team, ensuring that only the cream of the crop will take the field this weekend. Additionally, the event will host the Adrenaline All-American Futures for the Class of 2029 athletes, with games starting Saturday. Girls will play at 1:30 p.m. Eastern followed by boys at 3:30 p.m. Eastern. And yes, they will also be streamed on ESPN+ for everyone to catch the action!
A Camp Full of Excitement
The weekend is all about more than just the games; it’s a celebration of dedication, athleticism, and camaraderie. Families will be checking into the Omni Frisco Hotel, conveniently located next to The Star. Saturday will feature a fun-filled media day where players will pose for headshots and engage in Q&A sessions, all leading up to an illustrious banquet. Participants will be greeted by the company’s CEO, and attendees will see the induction of lacrosse star Megan Carney into the Western Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Not to miss, the Jeremy Huber Scholarship awards will also be presented to honor the late Huber, whose legacy continues to inspire young athletes.
Game Day and Competitions
Sunday morning kicks off with player check-ins, locker room visits, and practice sessions, giving everyone a chance to soak in the excitement. During the games, spectators can look forward to entertaining halftime competitions, as last year Luke Stickler wowed everyone with a blistering 117-mph shot. Players and coaches for the teams include seasoned experts like Ally Gibb and Max Silblerlicht for the girls and Anthony DeMaio for the boys, ensuring top-tier coaching is in play.
Looking Ahead
The Adrenaline All-American Games offer more than just thrilling matches; they provide an unforgettable experience that marks an essential milestone for athletes preparing to transition to collegiate lacrosse. With over 50 alumni having made it to NCAA All-American status and 17 currently playing in the Premier Lacrosse League, the event’s impact is undeniable.
