How Players Were Chosen

So, how do you get invited to such an exciting event? Players earned their spots through a combination of regional ID clinics across the nation, a straightforward virtual application process, and by being part of the previous year’s U.S. Youth National Teams. The Big Goal

From this national combine, a select 24 players will be chosen to represent the U17 and U19 U.S. Youth National Teams. These fortunate athletes will not only train together but will also get the chance to compete in two important events later this fall. The excitement continues on September 18-21 when the teams face off against Lacrosse Canada’s youth national teams at the Rivalry Challenge. Then, from October 24-26, they’ll participate in the Brogden Cup against the Haudenosaunee Nationals and Team Ontario.
