First off, let’s give a huge shoutout to Lebanon High School. This year, they made history by winning their first-ever state championship! What a journey it has been for these talented athletes and their devoted coach, Brian Kindell, who marked his 21st season on the sidelines. Under his guidance, the Warriors posted an outstanding 28-4 record, shared the Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) title, and celebrated not just their first state title but also his impressive 500th coaching win! Talk about a season to remember!
A Stellar Season for Ella Teubner
One player really stood out this season—Ella Teubner from Lebanon. She had a phenomenal season, leading the ECC with an astonishing .585 batting average and racking up a staggering 63 RBIs. To top it off, she scored the go-ahead run in the district final and clinched the victory with a walk-off hit in the regional semifinal! Throughout her high school career, she left a lasting mark by becoming the third-highest on the all-time OHSAA RBIs list with a total of 212 RBIs. They each showcased grit and determination, contributing immensely to their teams’ successes.

Beyond our city, it was also a standout year for the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association, with recognition going to players like Lexie Hames of Seneca Valley, who earned the title of overall state player of the year.
