Tyler
Representing North Wales, Tyler is another exceptional talent who played for the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals ECNL. A captain in her senior year at Council Rock North High School, she led her team to back-to-back Pennsylvania State Championships in 2017 and 2018. She’s enthusiastic about meeting new people, expanding her horizons, and embracing UAlbany’s student culture.
Lauren Villasin
Known for her leadership skills, Lauren captained her team at Cedar Stars Academy and showed incredible prowess at West Orange High School with an impressive 34 goals and 15 assists. She even made an impression on the international stage by representing the Philippines at the youth national team level. Eager to dive into UAlbany’s vibrant soccer and campus life, Lauren is ready to forge new friendships on the field.
Angie McLoughlin
Coming from New Jersey, Angie shone on the field as part of Match Fit Academy ECNL and boasted a fantastic high school career with 15 goals and 8 assists. Recognized as Team MVP and a First Team All-County player, she’s looking to balance both her academic and athletic responsibilities at UAlbany, and thrives on the challenges that come with playing Division 1 soccer.
Julia DiRaddo
Albany’s own homegrown talent, Julia played for Albany Alleycats in the ECNL Regional League and also starred at Shenendehowa, earning numerous accolades including All-State honors. With a background in track and field as well, Julia is ready to bring that competitive spirit to the soccer pitch and is thrilled about the welcoming environment and team dynamics she found at UAlbany.
Anna Nassivera
Last but not least, Anna hails from Albany and has been recognized for her outstanding performance with the Albany Alleycats, earning ECNL-RL All-Region honors. She made waves at Columbia High School with a remarkable 17 shutouts in a single season.
