In a thrilling weekend of NCAA softball, the super regional teams showcased their talents, leading to some major re-rankings. As teams gear up for a spot in the Women’s College World Series, we take a fresh look at how these squads fared during their regional matchups.

Coming in strong at the top is Oklahoma, now the top seed after the surprising exit of Texas A&M. The Oklahoma offense is really turning heads, thanks to the impressive play of Kasidi Pickering and Ella Parker, both of whom have experience in high-stakes situations.

Arkansas made a significant leap to the No. 2 spot after a dominant 3-0 run in their regional. The Razorbacks had a nail-biter against Oklahoma State but bounced back strong to win the regional final 12-0, even without big contributions from Bri Ellis.

UCLA also jumped up the ranks to No. 3, thanks to a flawless performance where they run-ruled their opponents and allowed only two runs over the weekend. Pitchers Jordan Woolery and Megan Grant showed they can take on any team when they are on their game.

The Florida Gators maintained their momentum, winning all their games in the regional, highlighted by Taylor Shumaker‘s powerful plays at the plate. They moved just below UCLA to make room for the top teams.

Texas moved up to the No. 5 position after a standout performance in which they run-ruled Michigan, scoring 16 runs in one game. Teagan Kavan‘s shutout in the regional final was a highlight for the Longhorns.

Tennessee impressed with a strong showing against Ohio State, shutting them out and displaying solid offensive skills. They maintained a high ranking as well.

Despite one loss, Florida State remained competitive, handling other teams effectively, while Texas Tech showed powerful offense led by NiJaree Canady.

Nebraska had standout performances, especially from Jordy Bahl, who reached base in every at-bat, including hitting four home runs on opening day, placing them at No. 9.

South Carolina is maintaining their standing after a sweeping regional performance, while Clemson remains steady despite not headlining their matches.

After a surprising victory against Virginia Tech, Alabama climbed a few spots with impressive pitching on display. Meanwhile, Oregon moved up as well after a thrilling finish against Stanford.

The Liberty Flames made history with a memorable upset over Texas A&M, showcasing their talent and fighting spirit throughout the regional.

Ole Miss surged from unseeded to No. 15, hitting 11 home runs in their matches, and is looking forward to facing off against a strong Arkansas lineup. Lastly, Georgia wrapped things up at No. 16 after an extra-inning victory over Duke, showing they can perform under pressure.
