FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball has been awarded the No. 4 national seed for the 2025 NCAA Softball Tournament. This year, the team is set to host a regional at Bogle Park for the fifth straight season. The Arkansas regional will be paired with the bracket of the Tucson Regional, which is being held by the No. 13 overall seed Arizona. Other teams in the Tucson bracket include Ole Miss, Grand Canyon, and Santa Clara.
The NCAA tournament regionals operate on a double-elimination format, while the super regionals are structured as a best-of-three-game series. This format provides teams a chance to fight through losses for a chance at the championship.
