Colorado State’s Kara Kaneshiro Finishes Strong at NCAA Regional

FORT COLLINS – Colorado State women’s golf player Kara Kaneshiro concluded her season on a positive note at the 2025 NCAA Regional held in Lubbock, Texas. The sophomore golfer achieved a remarkable top-20 finish in her final tournament of the year.

Kaneshiro played a total of three rounds at The Rawls Course, finishing the tournament with a score of five over par. Despite not qualifying for the NCAA Championships, her performance showcased her skill and determination throughout the competition.

In the first round, she faced some challenges, finishing at four over par. Round two did not go as planned either, as she ended up with a score of ten over par. However, her resilience shone through in the final round. Kaneshiro finished with an impressive five under par, showcasing her ability to bounce back when it mattered most.
