This past week has been packed with fierce competition, and it looks like the energy isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
Soccer Highlights
The soccer field has seen its fair share of action. In one of the most exciting games, No. 2 Hartford took down No. 7 Montpelier with a definitive score of 3-0. Turning our attention to another upset, No. 9 Leland & Gray shocked the crowd by defeating the top-seeded No. 1 West Rutland with a 3-1 victory. What a turn for events! In a nail-biter of a match, No. 6 Arlington edged out No. 3 Mount St. Joseph with a close 4-3 finish.
It seems the goalkeepers had a lot of work to do! No. 2 Harwood kept their net clean, shutting out No. 10 U-32 2-0, thanks to standout performances from Felix Kretz and Anthony Caforia, who each scored goals along with assistance from Brycen Scharf.
