Baltimore – The NFL has been buzzing about Odell Beckham Jr. once again, as the talented wide receiver has confirmed that he is facing a six-game suspension due to a violation of the league’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Beckham shared this information during a recent appearance on “The Pivot Podcast,” explaining that he plans to play in the NFL in 2025 but will be sidelined until at least Week 12 of this season.

This suspension stems from a positive test in 2024, where Beckham reported having “testosterone levels” that were deemed “too high.” Despite the setback, he maintained that he was unaware of using any banned substances. Beckham, who spent his last season with the Miami Dolphins, is looking ahead and considering teams he might sign with, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as his former squads—the New York Giants and Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham began his NFL career with the Giants before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019. Reflecting on his time in New York, he expressed regret about leaving, saying, “I never, ever wanted to leave the New York Giants.” He achieved Super Bowl success with the Rams after the 2021 season but faced challenges when he tore his ACL during the game, which led to him missing the following season while he rehabilitated.

In the 2024 season, Beckham’s production was limited, with only nine receptions accumulating 55 yards. Over his career, he has reached nearly 8,000 receiving yards. Now, with his upcoming suspension hanging over him, Beckham will need to be patient as he navigates his path back to the field. The NFL landscape is constantly shifting, and it remains to be seen how this will affect Beckham’s future with any team that might sign him.
