The Montour Spartans had their day too, as they cruised to victory in a Class 3A Section 2 match against the Black Hawks. Irelynn Hobbs shone brightly with an impressive four goals, contributing to a robust 3-0 lead by halftime. Supporting her, Brooklyn Young, Kenzie Hall, and Holly Zulka fired in additional goals, helping Montour improve to a wonderful record of 9-2 overall and 8-1 in section play.
On a thrilling note, the Moon Tigers managed to secure a hard-fought victory, with Taylor McConnell scoring the single, but important, goal for a 1-0 victory over the Indians. This victory translates into a stunning record of 12-1-0 overall and an impeccable 10-0-0 in section play, with Kendall Dydek assisting on the goal. Ainslie Romasco kept things clean as she earned a shutout in goal—what a fantastic effort from the team!
