Los Angeles Kicker Reaches Record-Breaking Milestone

Los Angeles, CA – On a thrilling Monday night in Las Vegas, Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker became the most accurate kicker in NFL history after successfully completing his 100th career field goal attempt. Dicker achieved this notable feat during the Chargers’ 20-9 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. This win marked the Chargers’ continued success in AFC West, keeping their unbeaten streak alive.

Dicker, who hit a 38-yard field goal on the Chargers’ opening drive, now boasts an impressive success rate of 94.0% from the field, having made 94 out of 100 attempts. This remarkable accuracy places him at the top of the NFL’s all-time field goal percentage list, a position previously held by renowned kicker Justin Tucker, who recorded an accuracy of 89.103%.

Reflecting on his achievement, Dicker stated, “It’s cool. In the moment, it’s a cool thing and it’s going to be a huge honor for me. But at the same time, I’m hoping this is the first of many kicks.” Looking forward, he added, “We got a lot more coming hopefully down the line, so continuing to build on previous seasons and try to continue success.”

The Chargers made a few roster moves ahead of their matchup, including signing long snapper Rick Lovato to the active roster, while linebacker Denzel Perryman was placed on Reserve/Injured. As the season unfolds, fans and analysts alike will be watching Dicker closely to see if he can maintain this outstanding performance.
