First up, we’ve got the Prairie High School golf team, which recently made a splash by *placing second* at the SEC Mini Meet No. 3. They racked up a solid team score of 203, finishing just 22 strokes shy of Franklin, who came in first. One of the standout players was Adelyne Ruetz, a senior golfer who shot a fantastic 47 and secured the fourth position overall. Talk about a strong finish!

But that’s not all! Prairie’s Willa Modder and Maddie Wruck made their varsity debut and impressed everyone by scoring 51 and 52 respectively on their first outings. Adding to the excitement, Claire Holle also chipped in with a solid performance, shooting 51 and tying for seventh place.

Union Grove’s golf team is also showing some serious skills as they recently won a dual match against Burlington with an impressive score of 187 to 234. Junior Alana Keevers was undoubtedly the star of the match, coming in low with a score of 42. Not to be outdone, Keevers, along with her teammates, kept up the momentum by edging past Wilmot in another closely contested dual meet with a score of 202 to 210.

Prairie further showcased their prowess by heading to the Tremper Invite, where they completely dominated and won by an astounding 39 strokes, finishing with a team score of 383. Adelyne Ruetz once again earned low honors, shooting an impressive 85, while freshman Maddie Wruck shone brightly by finishing third with a score of 95.

And let’s not forget about Waterford’s golf team, which secured a victory over Burlington with a score of 209 to 228. Addison Passler put on a great show, leading the charge with a score of 48.
