ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Cornerback Pat Surtain II has received a significant honor in the NFL. He was voted as the No. 10 player in the league on the 2025 NFL Top 100 list, which is determined by players’ votes from across the league. This recognition marks the third time Surtain has made the list, demonstrating his impressive growth as a player.

In past years, Surtain was ranked No. 49 in 2023 and No. 52 in 2024. His latest jump into the top 10 comes on the heels of a stellar performance in the previous season, where he was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year title. Surtain, who was a first-round pick from Alabama, is not the only Bronco making the list this year. He is joined by linebacker Nik Bonitto at No. 38, quarterback Bo Nix at No. 64, and defensive lineman Zach Allen at No. 90.

At just 25 years old, Surtain has already carved out his place among the league’s elite. In 2024, he tied a career high with four interceptions and notched 11 passes defensed to accompany 45 total tackles. Notably, he also made history by becoming the 10th player to win the Defensive Player of the Year award and earn a pair of first-team All-Pro selections in his first four seasons.

His performance has earned him numerous Pro Bowl selections and first-team All-Pro honors throughout his career. According to Next Gen Stats, Surtain led the league in several key defensive categories in 2024, including the fewest yards allowed and the lowest target rate among cornerbacks.
