Indianapolis Set to Host 2025 WNBA All-Star Game

Indianapolis, IN – The excitement is building as the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game approaches, set to take place on Saturday, July 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This year’s All-Star team captains were announced on June 29, featuring Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier.

On June 30, the other eight starters for the All-Star game were revealed. Coaches from the league selected the reserves on July 6, showcasing a rich array of talent. Notably, all 24 athletes playing in this year’s All-Star game have made a name for themselves during their time in various NCAA programs.

Several colleges are well represented, with UConn, the reigning 2025 national champions, and Notre Dame each having four players competing. South Carolina is just behind them with three representatives, and Oregon also has a presence with two All-Star players.

Among the standout players, six of them have previously claimed at least one national championship during their college careers. Collier, Breanna Stewart, and Gabby Williams were all part of the UConn team that won the title in 2016.

The All-Star game reflects a strong showing of talent from various college conferences. Players will represent their respective universities, showcasing the impact of collegiate basketball on professional careers.
