Baseball Buzz

Let’s start with the baseball field, where game scores are crashing down like home runs! In a stunning matchup, the No. 3 Essex Eagles took down No. 6 Burr and Burton in a decisive 18-0 victory after just six innings. Standout pitcher, Trinity Anaya, gave an impressive performance, allowing only one hit and striking out 13 batters. Her contributions at the plate were phenomenal too, with a perfect 4-for-4, including a home run and five RBIs. Meanwhile, No. 1 Hartford took care of its business with a solid 12-8 win over Harwood.

In tennis, No. 1 South Burlington faced a tough challenge from No. 5 Essex, but emerged victorious with a narrow 4-3 victory, setting the stage for more thrilling matches to come!
