A Fair Playing Field for Young Athletes
The Athlete of the Week recognition is open to all varsity sports students, allowing young athletes to gain appreciation and visibility for their hard work throughout the season. However, there are some rules in place to maintain fairness. Each athlete can receive the honor only once per season and per sport. Plus, no more than three consecutive weeks can be awarded to athletes from the same school. It keeps the competition fresh and gives every athlete a fair shot at recognition!
