Excitement Builds as NCAA Women’s Conference Tournaments Approach

As the 2024-25 women’s college basketball regular season winds down, basketball fans are gearing up for an exciting few weeks ahead. With conference tournaments just around the corner, it’s time to mark your calendars and get ready for some thrilling matchups.

This year, a total of 68 teams will make their way to the 2025 NCAA Tournament. Among them, 32 teams will secure their spots by winning their conference tournaments. The remaining teams will earn their invitations based on their performance throughout the season. Fans can look forward to Selection Sunday, taking place on March 16 at 8 p.m. ET, when the final bracket will be revealed.

The tournament will kick off with the First Four games on March 19. Notably, the West Regional Sweet 16 and Elite Eight rounds are set for Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington, while the East Regional will unfold at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama from March 28-31. The grand finale, the Final Four and the national championship game, will be hosted at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida during the weekend of April 4-6.
