Florida Football Stars Set to Shine at 2025 Navy All-American Bowl
San Antonio, Texas – This Saturday, January 11, some of Florida’s top high school football players will take the field one last time as they participate in the 2025 U.S. Navy All-American Bowl, showcasing their skills in an all-star game held at the Alamodome. The match is set to kick off at 1 p.m. and will feature eleven standout athletes from the Sunshine State, including notable quarterbacks Ty Hawkins and Noah Grubbs.
This year’s roster includes three junior players: Jabari Brady, a wide receiver from Monarch; Elijah Golden, a defensive lineman from Cardinal Mooney; and Grubbs. It’s important to note that while juniors who played in the Under Armour All-America game faced eligibility issues, they are cleared to participate in the Navy All-American Bowl because the event occurs out of state.
Ty Hawkins, originally from Texas, is the top-ranked quarterback on the USA Today Florida Network’s list and signed with SMU back in December. He had an impressive season at IMG, leading the Ascenders to a 7-2 record. Another standout player, Watkins, had a remarkable senior year with 94 catches for 1,151 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing significantly to Venice’s Class 7A state title win.
Brady, ranked as the No. 11 junior wide receiver nationally, has received offers from elite programs including Alabama, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. Mills, who had some setbacks with injuries, flipped his commitment from Oklahoma to Nebraska during the early signing period, while Golden transitioned from IMG and showcased strong defensive stats.
The Navy All-American Bowl will see players break into two teams, the 2025 East and 2025 West. Football fans can catch the live broadcast on NBC or stream it on Peacock or Fubo, which offers a free trial. With so many promising players involved, Saturday’s game promises to be an exciting display of high school football talent.
