This past Friday, Vandegrift High School made headlines by advancing to the 6A Division II regional final with an impressive 49-35 victory over Cibolo Steele at The Alamodome. The Vipers showcased a strong performance and will now prepare to face San Antonio Harlan, who narrowly edged Canyon 39-36 in their game.
Meanwhile, Westlake also had a big night, comfortably winning against Buda Johnson with a score of 52-14. The Chaparrals are set to take on district rivals Lake Travis, who triumphed over San Antonio East Central with a commanding 52-7 win.
