San Francisco High School Football Highlights

San Francisco, CA – The latest week of high school football showcased some thrilling matchups across the region, highlighting the talent and competitiveness of the teams involved. One of the standout performances came from Kingston Keanaaina of Saint Francis, who rushed for a stunning 319 yards and scored three touchdowns in their victory over Serra, clinching a 27-21 win. This performance not only solidified his reputation but also pushed him to the top of the career rushing leader list while tying the career touchdown total.

In another commanding game, St. Ignatius shut out Bellarmine with a decisive 46-0 win. Jarious Hogan shined with three rushing touchdowns in the first half, while Soren Hummel contributed with both passing and rushing touchdowns, leading the Wildcats to their fifth consecutive victory.

In a competitive PAL Bay Division clash, Los Gatos edged out Menlo-Atherton with a 21-14 score. Quarterback Scott Brennan, son of Arizona coach Brent Brennan, played a pivotal role, throwing for 170 yards and scoring on a run, alongside Henry Masters, who scored a crucial go-ahead touchdown on a 35-yard scoop and score.

Valley Christian continued to impress with a solid 31-13 victory against Riordan. Coach Mike Machado‘s squad displayed their strength with big plays, including a 75-yard touchdown run by Marcel Leggett and a diving touchdown catch by King Wade.

In other noteworthy results, Salinas secured a thrilling 28-21 win over Monterey, finishing strong on a defensive stand to seal the game. Meanwhile, Soquel defeated Hollister 28-10, with four players contributing touchdowns. Half Moon Bay also won decisively against Milpitas with a score of 33-14, showcasing an impressive multi-touchdown performance from Adler Halterman.
