Exciting High School Football Action Across California

This past weekend, from September 26 to 28, high school football showcased some thrilling performances across California. Even as many top teams geared up for league play, several standout players delivered impressive displays on the field.

In Galt, Joseph Brown, a senior running back for Liberty Ranch, stole the spotlight. Brown rushed for an eye-popping 301 yards and scored four touchdowns in a 45-28 victory over Amador, showcasing his immense talent.

Meanwhile, at Servite, Quaid Carr shined with two rushing touchdowns and a spectacular 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, leading his team to a 33-14 win against St. Paul.

In Murrieta Valley, Cam Conner had an electrifying performance, scoring on a 96-yard punt return and adding a touchdown reception in a 35-25 victory over San Clemente.

On the defensive side, Sobrato’s Rayan Daneshvar made a huge impact with 16 tackles, four tackles for loss, and a forced fumble in their 27-22 win over Overfelt.

Over in Grossmont, senior quarterback Thomas Donovan completed 26 of 43 passes for an impressive 396 yards and six touchdowns in their 54-33 triumph over Monte Vista.

Half Moon Bay’s Adler Halterman made a remarkable debut, rushing for 323 yards and setting a school record with seven touchdowns in a thrilling 52-45 win at Foothill.

In another standout performance, Vallejo’s Darrel Hurd caught 13 passes for 299 yards and scored two touchdowns in a 22-14 victory over Terra Nova, while also making a defensive interception.
